Best Hybrid SUVs With Ventilated Seats in India (2026)

Best Hybrid SUVs With Ventilated Seats in India (2026)

No hybrid SUV in India fits ventilated seats to its base variant, so the trim they start at matters more than the model's starting price. On the Brezza and Victoris that is the top trim; on the Grand Vitara it is Zeta, two steps lower, which is why the Grand Vitara often works out better value. The Toyota Hyryder is the trap: ventilated seats come on the NeoDrive V and the Hybrid G(O) and V, but not the NeoDrive G(O), even though that variant does get the panoramic sunroof. The Victoris strong hybrid is the most efficient of the group at 28.65 km/l.

Seven hybrid SUVs on sale in India offer ventilated front seats, and the cheapest is the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, which fits them to its ZXi+ trim inside a range running from Rs 7.50 lakh to Rs 13.71 lakh ex-showroom. The Grand Vitara offers them on the widest spread of variants, across petrol, all-wheel drive and strong hybrid. Only the Lexus RX 350h and RX 500h ventilate the rear seats as well as the front.

One thing to understand before shortlisting: no hybrid SUV in India fits ventilated seats to its base variant. On the Brezza and the Victoris they arrive only at the top trim. On the Grand Vitara they start a full trim lower, at Zeta. That difference, not the model's starting price, is what decides what this feature actually costs you.

Key takeaways

  • The Brezza is the cheapest route in, with ventilated seats from the ZXi+ trim.
  • The Grand Vitara has the broadest coverage: Zeta and Alpha on petrol, including both ALLGRIP variants, and Zeta+ and Alpha+ on the strong hybrid.
  • The Victoris restricts them to ZXi+ and ZXi+(O), its top trim, on both smart and strong hybrid.
  • On the Toyota Hyryder they appear on the NeoDrive V and the Hybrid G(O) and V. The NeoDrive G(O) does not get them, which is easy to get wrong because the sunroof does arrive one trim earlier.
  • The Lexus RX 350h and RX 500h are the only hybrid SUVs here that ventilate the outer rear seats.
  • The most efficient of these is the Victoris strong hybrid at 28.65 km/l, ahead of the Grand Vitara and Hyryder strong hybrids at 27.97 km/l.

Smart hybrid or strong hybrid, and why it matters here

Four of these SUVs are sold in both forms, so the seat cooling is not what separates them.

A smart hybrid is a mild system. A small 12V lithium-ion battery and an integrated starter generator assist the engine, smooth out restarts and recover braking energy, but cannot drive the wheels on their own. The Brezza is smart hybrid only.

A strong hybrid adds a much larger battery, a 177.6 V lithium-ion pack on the Grand Vitara, and a motor that can move the car on electric power alone at low speed. That is where the efficiency gap comes from: 27.97 km/l for the Grand Vitara strong hybrid against 21.11 km/l for the same car as a petrol manual.

If ventilated seats are the goal and the budget is tight, a smart hybrid gets you exactly the same seat cooling for less money. If you drive mostly in city traffic, the strong hybrid pays its premium back in fuel.

1. Maruti Suzuki Brezza

The cheapest hybrid SUV in India with ventilated seats, and the only one on this list that is not also sold as a strong hybrid.

Ventilated-seat variants: ZXi+ only, which means the ZXi+ Turbo MT and the ZXi+ AT. The LXi, VXi and ZXi do without.

Engines: A 998 cc K10C DiTC turbo petrol making 81 kW, or 110.12 PS, and 170 Nm with a six-speed manual, or a 1,462 cc K15C making 75.8 kW, or 103.05 PS, and 139 Nm with a six-speed automatic. Both are smart hybrids.

Mileage: 19.96 km/l on the ZXi+ Turbo MT and 20.17 km/l on the ZXi+ AT.

What else the ZXi+ brings: head-up display, electric sunroof, wireless charging dock with active cooling, PM 2.5 cabin filter with AQI display, rear fast-charging USB, 360 View Camera, blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert, front parking sensors.

Safety: Six airbags as standard across the range, and a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating at 30.41 of 32 for adults and 43.00 of 49 for children, covering the petrol variants.

2. Maruti Suzuki Victoris

The best-equipped of the sub-Rs 20 lakh group, and the one with the strongest crash record.

Ventilated-seat variants: ZXi+ and ZXi+(O), on smart hybrid manual, automatic and ALLGRIP automatic, and on the strong hybrid.

Engines: A 1,462 cc K15C making 103.06 PS and 139 Nm as a smart hybrid, with ALLGRIP Select all-wheel drive on the six-speed automatic. The strong hybrid pairs a 1,490 cc M15D making 92.45 PS and 122 Nm with an 80 PS, 141 Nm motor through an e-CVT.

Mileage: 21.18 km/l petrol manual, 21.06 km/l petrol automatic, 19.07 km/l ALLGRIP automatic, 28.65 km/l strong hybrid, 27.02 km/kg on CNG.

What else the ZXi+ brings: 8-way powered driver seat, head-up display, smart powered tailgate with gesture control, 64-colour ambient lighting, Auto Purify with PM 2.5 display, a 26.03 cm fully digital cluster, and a panoramic sunroof on the (O) variants.

Safety: Six airbags, a 360-degree HD camera, tyre pressure monitoring, and Level 2 ADAS on the automatic and ALLGRIP variants from Rs 17.49 lakh. It holds 5 stars at Bharat NCAP, 31.66 of 32 and 43.00 of 49, and 5 stars at Global NCAP, 33.72 of 34 and 41.00 of 49.

3. Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara

Ten variants with ventilated seats, more than any other hybrid SUV sold here, and the only one that offers them with all-wheel drive below Rs 20 lakh.

Ventilated-seat variants: On petrol, Zeta and Zeta(O), then Alpha and Alpha(O) including both ALLGRIP versions. On strong hybrid, Zeta+ and Zeta+(O) and Alpha+ and Alpha+(O). Only Sigma, Delta and the strong hybrid Delta+ go without.

Engines: A 1,462 cc petrol making 75.8 kW, or 103.06 PS, and 139 Nm. The strong hybrid uses a 1,490 cc engine at 68 kW, or 92.45 PS, with a 59 kW motor for 85 kW, or 115.56 PS, of total system power through an e-CVT.

Mileage: 21.11 km/l manual, 20.58 km/l automatic, 19.20 km/l ALLGRIP automatic, 27.97 km/l strong hybrid.

What else arrives with the seats: wireless charger, rear door sunshade and Auto Purify with PM 2.5 from Zeta upward. The head-up display and 8-way powered driver seat are Alpha and Alpha+ items only, and the panoramic sunroof comes on the (O) variants.

Safety: Six airbags as standard, ESP with hill hold, tyre pressure monitoring, 360 View Camera on Alpha trims, hill descent control on the ALLGRIP variants.

4. Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder

The Grand Vitara's Toyota twin, but it does not hand out ventilated seats on the same pattern. That is the trap on this list.

Ventilated-seat variants: NeoDrive V on the smart hybrid side, and G(O) and V on the strong hybrid. The NeoDrive G(O) misses out even though it gets the panoramic sunroof, so a sunroof variant here is not automatically a ventilated-seat variant.

Engines: The NeoDrive smart hybrid uses the 1,462 cc petrol at 75.8 kW, or 103.06 PS. The strong hybrid runs the 1,490 cc engine at 68 kW, or 92.45 PS, with a 59 kW motor for 85 kW, or 115.56 PS, of total system power.

Mileage: 21.12 km/l on the 2WD manual, 20.58 km/l on the 2WD automatic, 19.39 km/l on the AWD manual, and 27.97 km/l on the strong hybrid. The E CNG version returns 26.6 km/kg but gets no ventilated seats.

What else: The 8-way electric driver seat is Hybrid V only. The head-up display follows the same pattern as the ventilated seats, on NeoDrive V and Hybrid G(O) and V.

5. Lexus NX 350h

The cheapest way to get ventilated seats on every variant, which no mainstream hybrid SUV here manages.

Ventilated-seat variants: All four, the Exquisite, Overtrail, Luxury and F SPORT.

Powertrain: A 2.5-litre strong hybrid with 176 kW, or 239 PS, of total system output, a CVT and all-wheel drive.

Price: From Rs 67.93 lakh.

Also included: Panoramic roof, colour head-up display, 8-way power front seats with driver memory and a 14-inch touchscreen across the range, with a wireless charger and 17-speaker Mark Levinson audio from the Overtrail up. Eight airbags and the Lexus Safety System+ 3 suite are standard.

6. Lexus RX 350h

Ventilated-seat variant: Exquisite, offered with Lexus audio or Mark Levinson audio.

Seats ventilated: Front seats and the outer rear seats.

Powertrain: A 2.5-litre strong hybrid with 181 kW, or 246 PS, of total system output and E-Four all-wheel drive.

Price: From Rs 90.44 lakh.

Also included: Heated front and rear seats, 10-way power front seats with memory, power-reclining rear seats, panoramic roof with power sunshade, head-up display, wireless charger, eight airbags, Lexus Safety System+ 3.

7. Lexus RX 500h

Ventilated-seat variant: F SPORT+.

Seats ventilated: Front seats and the outer rear seats.

Powertrain: A 2.4-litre turbo petrol strong hybrid with 273 kW, or 371 PS, of total system output, a six-speed automatic and DIRECT4 all-wheel drive. The most powerful car on this list by a wide margin.

Price: From Rs 1.11 crore.

How to choose

Work backwards from the trim, not the model. Find the cheapest variant of each car that actually has the seats, and compare those. On the Brezza and Victoris that means the top trim; on the Grand Vitara it means Zeta, which is two steps below the top and the reason the Grand Vitara is often the better value here despite a higher starting price.

Then check what rides along with it. On the Grand Vitara, Zeta gets you the seats, the wireless charger and the PM 2.5 filter but not the head-up display or the powered driver seat, which wait for Alpha. On the Victoris everything arrives together at ZXi+.

On the test drive, run the seat fans at full speed for a few minutes in afternoon heat. They vary more than the brochures suggest, in both how fast they cool and how much noise they make at full tilt.
